Richard Murray Richard Murray, M.A.

Rick Murray had eighteen years of corporate business experience in marketing, sales and management with Phillips 66, Digital Equipment Corporation, Control Data Corporation, and Statewide Incorporated. He was also the Chief Operating Officer of a corporation. He owned an advertising company for nine years before he retired from business began his teaching career.

Rick has more than ten years teaching experience at the college level and is currently the Psychology Department Chair at Brown College . He has also taught at the University of St. Thomas and The Arts Institute International. Rick is drawn to Adlerian Psychology because of its pragmatic, holistic and commonsense approach to life. He is an instructor in the Coaching and Consulting for Organizations program at the Adler Graduate School .

A Minnesota resident since 1980, Rick enjoys spending time with his wife and three children at their retreat in Wisconsin . As Chairperson for the Lower Turtle Lake Management District in Wisconsin , Rick oversees wetlands, lakes and watersheds in that area.

Rick and his family also enjoy performing together and are involved in the Prior Lake community theatre scene as well as the community theatre which serves the Lakeville, Burnsville and Apple Valley area. Rick is a member of the Apollo Men's Choir and also joins his daughter in a Dad and Daughter dance recital every year.
