Holly Smart is a Senior Therapist at the Chrysalis Mental Health Clinic in Minneapolis , Minnesota where she serves children, adolescents and families. She specializes in work with couples in matters involving child abuse and adoption and attachment issues.
Holly also has a part-time private practice in St. Paul working with individuals, couples families and children.
In addition to teaching at the Adler Graduate School , Holly also teaches Art Therapy at Metro State University on its Twin Cities campuses. Her strengths as an instructor include her experience in the field combined with her creativity, flexibility, accessibility and playfulness.
Holly came to Adlerian Psychology by way of Kay Conlon, a well-known art therapist, who taught at the Adler Graduate School . "I found Adlerian Psychology to be complementary with art therapy approaches," says Holly. "I found the philosophy to be really similar to the way I work and to the way I honor my clients."
