AGS offers a Master of Arts Degree in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy with five areas of emphasis, four Specialty Area Programs, a Post-Master's Degree Diploma in Adlerian Psychotherapy and a Post-Master's Licensure Program.
Coursework at the Adler Graduate School supports pursuit of licensure as an LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) and Professional School Counselor in the State of Minnesota. Students seeking licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, Professional Clinical Counseling and Professional School Counseling are encouraged to consult program advisors regarding specific course requirements. Students seeking licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy are encouraged to contact the Board of Marriage and Family Therapy. Students seeking licensure in Professional Counseling and/or Professional Clinical Counseling are encouraged to contact the Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. For those who already possess a Master's level degree and wish to pursue further coursework in Adlerian psychotherapy or to prepare for licensure, AGS offers two Post-Master's Programs:
AGS courses are specifically designed to accomodate the busy schedules of working adults. Classes are generally held in the evenings and on weekends, and most students keep their current jobs (more about our schedule for working adults). AGS is a fully accredited learning institution (more about our accreditation).
