Marriage & Family Therapy Licensure (LMFT)
Program Information | Faculty | Courses
The Marriage & Family Therapy Program at AGS allows the applicant to take only the courses required for licensure by the Minnesota Board of Marriage & Family Therapy.
To be considered for the MFT track, applicants must submit all official transcripts from previous graduate-level work, an application form and an application fee. Applicants must first meet with the Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, where a determination is made concerning the courses and/or internship requirements that are necessary for licensure. Applicants are required to provide AGS with written documentation of the Board's determination regarding remaining requirements.
The phone number of the Marriage & Family Therapy Board is: (651) 617-2220. Note: Some students, upon completion of the requirements, may be eligible to receive the AGS Diploma in Adlerian Psychotherapy.
