AGS seeks to admit students who have demonstrated academic preparation by receiving an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university, and who display a personal interest in community involvement.
AGS recognizes that applicants have varied academic and work experiences. Many students apply to AGS after a transition and wish to further their education. With this in mind, AGS has created two types of admission: Full Admission and Provisional Admission.
All applicants for the Master of Arts degree program in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy will be expected to submit the following materials for a complete application file:
- Completed application form
- Application fee (non-refundable)
- Personal Goal Statement (500 words)
- Three letters of reference (e.g. peer, supervisor, academic instructor)
Resume or work history
- Official transcripts sent directly from all post-secondary institutions indicating the degree conferred
