Introduction to DSM-5

The workshop will focus on the new components in DSM-5 - measures and ICD-10 linkage - and on the changes in the DSM taxonomy - new categories and new diagnoses.

Participants who will complete the program will be able to administer and interpret measures recommended in DSM-5, utilize the DSM-5 dimensional diagnostic system for personality disorder, administer the cultural formulation interview from DSM-5, locate DSM-IV diagnoses in the DSM-5 taxonomy,  identify ICD-10 diagnoses that correspond to DSM-5 diagnoses, and identify the diagnoses and criteria for these diagnoses that are new to DSM-5.
