7/18/2012 - 3:00pm to 9:00pm CDT

The Adler Alumni Association invites you to our next free workshop, “Planning the Successful Private Practice” on Wednesday, July 18 from 3:00pm – 9:00pm at Adler in room 232. The presenter is John M. Reardon. This workshop is open to alumni, students and affiliates.

John M. Reardon received his MA in Counseling Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago.  He has been a core faculty member at Adler Graduate School since 2000. John is a member of Phoenix Process Consultants in Minnetonka, providing both counseling and consulting services since November 1, 1984.

Whether you are considering multiple professional options, or have made a full decision to pursue private practice, this workshop is an excellent opportunity to explore practical options. Careful planning, evaluation of costs, and research into the potential challenges of private practice from the outset are critical steps to take. In his workshop, John will share his knowledge and provide resources necessary to create a practice that will be meaningful, useful to the community, and profitable.

Learning outcomes:

1.      Identify the practice’s purpose and commitment,

2.      Develop and refine a mission statement,

3.      List areas of service and project the level of activity, income, and expenses,

4.      Formulate a network-driven marketing plan, and

5.      Formulate a strategy for starting the practice.

Online registration is now open. Go to http://agsaafreeworkshop10.eventbrite.com and follow the prompts.

The workshop will begin promptly at 3:00pm. We look forward to seeing you there. Thank you!
