Amy worked at Woodbury Jr. High as a school counselor for two years before being hired as an elementary counselor at Meadowbrook Elementary in Hopkins where she worked for six years. Amy led and served on a number of leadership committees including, District & Building Level Equity Teams, District Alternative Compensation Team, District Safe and Drug Free Committee, District Health Committee and Counselor Representative on District Special Education Committee.
