Through her work in schools Tina discovered that truly effective approaches to children's challenging behaviors were scarce and began looking for techniques that worked. Her search ended when she discovered Tucson family therapist Howard Glasser's Nurtured Heart Approach, which propelled her into a new career. She founded the Center for the Challenging Child, LLC, and now uses her passion to serve intense children and the adults in their lives to facilitate dramatic behavior improvement in those children. Tina employs techniques which she calls Present-Moment Parenting and Present-Moment Teaching . "Both are designed to help parents and teachers," she says, "so they are able to be on the same page with child behavior methods." In addition to providing phone, Skype, and in-person coaching for parents and professionals, Ms. Feigal presents in-service programs at schools and non-profit agencies. She is also the editor of a free e-newsletter that provides tips for handling challenging behaviors.
