About Michelle Rosenau
Michelle earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of St. Thomas and her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy approved supervisor for those working to obtain their LPCC licensure.
Michelle has worked within human services/mental health since 1997 holding various roles, both clinical and administrative. Her clinical focus and heart has typically been with adolescent youth, but she has worked with adults, children and families and does enjoy those populations as well. In her client work, she often starts from a trauma informed lens and is trained in TF-CBT and EMDR. She also draws heavily from CBT concepts and DBT skills work. Despite this focus, she fully appreciates the wide array of ways we as professionals can conceptualize cases and provide individualized services and does not believe in a “one size fits all” mentality. As such, she tends to work with clients through a very eclectic but intentional approach, pulling from various theories and interventions.
